About the role#
This summer internship provides hands-on experience within the warehouse department. You will learn how supply chain workflows function and how they impact the broader business. The role involves taking ownership of specific projects and working alongside other interns to solve real problems. You will gain professional experience while applying lean tools to improve processes.
What you'll do#
- Train and job-shadow to understand company workflows and business needs.
- Lead assigned projects from start to finish.
- Collaborate with other interns on a team project.
- Define problems, collect data, and conduct analysis to find solutions.
- Manage, update, and track various reports.
- Present your research, findings, and recommendations at the end of your internship.
- Apply lean thinking to identify and remove waste in your work area.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time student status at an accredited college or university.
- A minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Mathematics.
- Commitment to working at least 350 hours during the summer of 2027.
- Ability to travel with minimal overnight stays required.
