About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in Ardmore, Oklahoma for the Summer 2027 term. You will work within the Transportation and Warehouse department to gain experience with company workflows and business processes. This role requires a minimum of 350 hours during the internship tenure and may involve minimal overnight travel.
What you'll do#
- Train and job-shadow across various departments to understand business needs and workflows.
- Take ownership of assigned individual projects and participate in a collaborative team project with other interns.
- Define problems, conduct research, and perform data analysis to determine effective methods for problem-solving.
- Review, update, and track various operational reports.
- Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste.
- Present your research, findings, and recommendations at the end of the internship.
- Attend business and professional development training events.
What you'll need#
- You are a full-time student in good standing pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field.
- A minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- You must be able to travel without restriction by all modes of transportation.
- This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
