About the role#
We are looking for a Data Engineer Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 program. This role focuses on using Microsoft SQL Server and Azure cloud services to build data solutions. You will work on moving data from various sources into target structures while ensuring data integrity and performing necessary transformations.
What you'll do#
- Design and implement effective database solutions.
- Identify the root cause and impact of support issues and outages.
- Recommend improvements for both new and existing systems.
- Collaborate with team members to find simplified approaches to business complexities.
- Construct data solutions and perform data transformations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master’s degree program in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- A GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Experience with Python for data processing and automation.
- Experience with SQL Server, SSIS, and Stored Procedures for data integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Location & details#
- This internship is based on-site at our office in Tempe, Arizona.
- The program runs for 11 weeks from May 2027 to August 2027.
- This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- This position is paid. We do not provide sponsorship for this role.
