About the role#
This Federal Work Study position provides part-time support within the department. You will assist the Lab Manager with daily operations and contribute to special projects that align with your career goals and interests.
What you'll do#
- Manage 3D print queues and troubleshoot routine issues.
- Follow all safety guidelines and escalate problems when necessary.
- Inventory, prepare, and ship lab kits.
- Help the Lab Manager test new systems and validate job aids.
- Complete other assigned tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at National University.
- A completed and current FAFSA on file.
- Ability to work up to 25 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions to complete projects on time.
- Preference is given to students enrolled in a School of Technology and Engineering program.

- This role is based on-site at the Spectrum Center in San Diego, California.
- Pay range: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour.
- Employment type: Part-time.
