About the role#
We are looking for an intern to join our Tax & Business Services team for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Rochester, New York. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting our tax and bookkeeping professionals with daily client work.
What you'll do#
- Prepare various tax returns including individual, partnership, corporation, 1099, and IT-204-LL forms.
- File tax extensions and assist with tax planning projects.
- Support bookkeeping tasks for our clients.
- Help prepare files for the new year and draft client engagement letters.
- Research tax questions and help the team meet client deadlines.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- You have a working knowledge of QuickBooks and are proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
- You have strong communication and organizational skills.
- You are comfortable working in a paperless environment.
- You bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
