About the role#
ELO CPAs & Advisors offers a year-round internship program that provides hands-on experience in public accounting. You will work across our Audit, Tax, and Client Accounting Services practice areas to build a foundation for your professional career. This role focuses on applying classroom knowledge to real-world client engagements while working alongside experienced advisors.
What you'll do#
- Participate in a structured program with exposure to Audit, Tax, and Client Accounting Services.
- Assist team members with client engagements, projects, and service-related tasks.
- Complete assigned responsibilities while communicating proactively about your progress.
- Collaborate with team members across different departments and office locations.
- Build an understanding of professional standards and public accounting best practices.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

- Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $22-$25 per hour, depending on experience.
