About the role#
The Credit Risk Intern reports to the Senior Manager of Credit Risk. You will work alongside analysts, associates, and managers to support operational and transformation initiatives. This role focuses on maintaining data integrity, producing accurate analysis, and adhering to internal risk management standards. You will gain exposure to real-world credit risk challenges and contribute to understanding portfolio and transaction-level risk.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the automation of IFRS 9 controls and checks for audit purposes.
- Support Credit Risk teams with the enablement of AI tools, including organizing inputs, testing use cases, and documenting outputs.
- Perform electronic document organization and support solutioning for automation.
- Assist with process improvements and the documentation of new procedures.
- Support basic experimentation and learning related to AI-enabled workflows.
- Identify opportunities where technology can improve efficiency within Credit Risk processes.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or Systems Engineering.
- 3 months to 1 year of exposure to Python, SQL, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft PowerShell, or Microsoft Power Automate.
- Experience utilizing AI for organization and automation tasks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to think systematically to develop technological and process solutions.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
