    About the role#

    As a Business Analyst Intern, you will join the Digital Retail Lending team. You will support the lifecycle of retail lending technology initiatives, from initial discovery to delivery. This role involves working alongside engineering, QA, and business stakeholders to translate needs into clear requirements and support the overall product development process.

    What you'll do#

    • Gather, clarify, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements for lending technology projects.
    • Support product discovery, process analysis, and solution definition by creating user stories and acceptance criteria.
    • Manage and maintain product backlogs, priorities, and dependencies across cross-functional teams.
    • Create and maintain essential project artifacts, including process maps, requirements documents, feature briefs, and presentation materials.
    • Participate in agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
    • Assist with test scenario definition, user acceptance testing, defect triage, and validation of delivered capabilities.
    • Support status tracking, risk management, and the preparation of delivery updates for leadership.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Familiarity with agile delivery practices and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
    • Understanding of software delivery concepts including APIs, system integrations, data flows, and testing practices.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize work while managing multiple tasks.
    • Experience with process mapping, data analysis, or reporting tools like Excel, Power BI, or Visio is considered an asset.
