About the role#
During this internship at EXP, you will join the design team to work on engineering projects related to bridges and civil structures. You will contribute to various engineering mandates while gaining experience in the field.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the design of simple structural elements.
- Develop design tools to support the team.
- Prepare feasibility studies and preliminary project reports.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including plans, specifications, cost estimates, and quantity calculations.
- Plan and carry out structure inspections.
- Participate in special transport mandates and provide support on surveillance tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program in civil engineering.
- A responsible, autonomous, and rigorous approach to work.
- A strong desire to learn and the ability to work well within a team.
- An AEC or DEC in civil engineering is considered an asset.
