About the role#
This internship provides an inside look at the Commercial Bank at F.N.B. Corporation, with a primary focus on credit analysis and underwriting. You will gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry by applying your academic knowledge to real-world business scenarios. This is a full-time, paid summer position based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
What you'll do#
- Participate in credit and systems training to build your professional foundation.
- Assist credit analysts, portfolio managers, and commercial lenders with portfolio tracking, administration, and growth.
- Shadow commercial lenders on outside business calls to observe client interactions.
- Interact with business partners across Private Banking, Treasury Management, and Wealth/Brokerage.
- Analyze financial data, pricing decisions, and credit risk to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with team members on projects and attend scheduled intern events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate bachelor program.
- A major in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or Information Technology.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (sponsorship is not provided).
