About the role#
This internship provides an inside look at the Commercial Bank at F.N.B. Corporation, specifically focusing on investment real estate lending. You will gain practical experience in credit analysis and underwriting while working alongside professionals in the financial services industry. This is a full-time, paid summer position designed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world banking operations.
What you'll do#
- Participate in credit and systems training.
- Assist credit analysts, portfolio managers, and commercial lenders in tracking and growing the commercial portfolio.
- Perform financial spreads, cash flow analysis, and collateral analysis.
- Shadow commercial lenders and business partners on outside business calls.
- Interact with various internal departments, including Private Banking, Treasury Management, Wealth/Brokerage, and Business Banking.
- Engage with commercial administration management and attend scheduled intern events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate bachelor program.
- Major in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or Information Technology.
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
- No prior professional experience is required.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States, as sponsorship is not provided.
