About the role#
This is a 12-week internship program based in Jefferson City, Missouri. You will work on-site with various teams to understand the operations of an agricultural financial institution.
What you'll do#
You will learn how the lending process works and study credit fundamentals. Your training covers the appraisal of real and chattel properties, along with risk management options like livestock, crop, and life insurance. You will also learn about customer relationships and marketing strategies.
Beyond training, you will complete hands-on projects that provide value to the company. At the end of the program, you will deliver presentations to senior leadership and the Board of Directors. You will also work alongside mentors across different areas of the association.
What you'll need#
We are looking for students majoring in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Agriculture. You should have a clear interest in credit philosophy and the lending process. Success in this role requires the ability to work well with mentors and a commitment to our institutional standards.

This is a full-time, paid, on-site position located in Jefferson City, Missouri. The internship term is rolling.
