About the role#
The Enterprise Data Office Co-op supports Fifth Third Bank through either Data Engineering or Software Engineering functions. You will work on an agile squad to deliver value to customers by applying technical skills to projects of low to moderate complexity. You will be placed in a specific team based on business needs and your personal skillset.
What you'll do#
- Participate in all agile team ceremonies.
- Complete work assignments alongside senior staff members.
- Implement new features and enable capabilities using software engineering tools.
- Attend learning sessions within the Enterprise Data Office to close knowledge gaps.
- Research the financial industry and specific applications used by the bank.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a 4-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Familiarity with SQL.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based immigration sponsorship.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
