About the role#
This is an 11-week, paid internship program based in Cincinnati. You will work on projects within the risk division to learn about operational, compliance, credit, and market risk. The program includes formal training, mentorship, and opportunities to build a professional network. Housing assistance is available to eligible interns.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience by supporting the Cincinnati market.
- Attend formal training classes and participate in community involvement projects.
- Build a network of resources within the risk division and supporting areas.
- Develop an understanding of risks inherent to financial institutions and strategies to mitigate them.
- Create and present a formal PowerPoint presentation to senior management at the end of the program.
- Perform work in accordance with established safety procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university pursuing a degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Humanities such as Psychology, Criminal Justice, Sociology, or Pre-Law.
- Must be a rising senior.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to connect information across different lines of business.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Campus involvement or leadership experience is preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
