About the role#
This co-op position provides practical experience in corporate accounting. You will work with experienced professionals on tasks including month-end closing, financial reporting, and regulatory reporting. This role is a full-time, paid position based in Cincinnati, Ohio, during the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Participate in internal audits and compliance reviews.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights for decision-making.
- Contribute to team meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Status as a rising sophomore, junior, or senior.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
