    About the role#

    Franklin Pierce University is hiring an INBRE Student Researcher to support a study on high intensity interval training and its effects on cardiovascular health in individuals with Type 2 Diabetes. This position involves working closely with community partners and faculty to collect data and manage research operations.

    What you'll do#

    • Recruit and screen study participants.
    • Collect blood pressure and heart rate data.
    • Schedule exercise sessions in coordination with YMCA partners.
    • Assist with documentation, data entry, and exercise prescription.
    • Maintain the cleanliness of research instruments and equipment.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in Kinesiology, Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, or Public Health.
    • A cumulative GPA of at least 3.5.
    • Good academic standing and a clean professional behavior record.
    • Ability to commit to 5 hours of work per week.
    • Willingness to travel for work and clinical assignments.
    • Strong communication skills when interacting with participants and faculty.

    • Location: Manchester, New Hampshire.
    • Term: Fall 2026 and Winter 2027.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Schedule: 5 hours per week, typically on Wednesdays and Fridays.
