About the role#
Freudenberg Group is hiring an Engineering Co-op to join our team in Plymouth, Michigan. This is a paid, part-time, on-site position. We are looking for students who can work on a rolling basis to support our research and development efforts.
What you'll do#
- Run engineering tests and experiments to support research and development.
- Use mechanical testing, measurement, and metrology equipment.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret test data for engineering evaluations.
- Troubleshoot testing equipment and fix technical issues.
- Write technical reports that summarize test procedures and results.
- Work with the engineering team to handle multiple projects and priorities.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor degree program for mechanical, chemical, materials, or related engineering fields.
- Completion of at least your sophomore year.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment, tools, or testing processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
- Ability to analyze technical data and explain your findings clearly.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines while collaborating with others.
