About the role#
The Life Sciences group at GBA works on mechanical and electrical systems for the bio-pharma industry. As an intern, you will join a team of architects, engineers, and project managers to support these projects. This is a full-time, paid internship with rolling start dates.
What you'll do#
- Prepare construction documents for various systems.
- Review shop drawings and RFI documents.
- Verify permitting and code requirements.
- Conduct facility evaluations and engineering studies.
- Assist with troubleshooting and commissioning tasks.
- Handle other tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a BS or MS in Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited program.
- You have completed at least two years of school.
- A GPA of 2.7 or higher is strongly preferred.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Excel is preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Involvement in campus, community, or volunteer organizations.
- Prior internship or related experience is a plus.

- Locations: Broomfield, Colorado or Lenexa, Kansas.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $24 to $26.50 per hour, depending on your completed years of school.
