About the role#
General Dynamics Mission Systems is looking for Software Engineering Interns to join our team in Pittsfield, Massachusetts for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. You will contribute to programs that support the defense of our country and work on technical projects tied to our core mission.
What you'll do#
- Apply classroom-learned skills to programs supporting national defense.
- Develop solutions for high-stakes national security missions.
- Collaborate with teams on various technical projects.
- Work alongside a group of experienced colleagues to enhance your engineering skills.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- A preference for sophomore standing or higher.
- A thorough understanding of engineering technology.
- U.S. citizenship is required to meet eligibility for access to classified information.
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- A Department of Defense security clearance is preferred at the time of hire.
