About the role#
We are hiring Environmental Engineering Interns for the summer of 2027. You will work alongside project managers, engineers, geologists, and scientists to implement environmental solutions. This is a full-time, paid position based in Bowie, Maryland.
What you'll do#
- Support project goals related to air quality, solid waste, and remediation.
- Handle technical tasks including report writing and data management.
- Maintain field equipment.
- Gain field experience through soil and groundwater sampling.
- Assist with monitoring well installation.
- Support operations and maintenance for remediation systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- A desire to learn and apply academic theory to practical tasks.
- A self-motivated approach to identifying tasks and assisting staff.
Location & details#
- Location: Bowie, Maryland.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with three days per week in the office.
- Compensation: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour based on experience.
