About the role#
Wharton-Smith, Inc. is hiring a Field Engineer Intern to work out of our Tampa regional office. This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term. We are looking for candidates currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Project Manager and Project Engineer with daily tasks and project organization.
- Review project plans and confer with management on project progress.
- Review bids submitted by contractors.
- Maintain a safe and clean job site by enforcing standard regulations and procedures.
- Perform data entry tasks to support project documentation.
- Help the team achieve project goals as needed.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Civil Engineering or related degree program.
- Ability to work on-site in Tampa, Florida.
- Status as a qualified candidate.
