    About the role#

    This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Colorado Springs. You will gain hands-on experience in the health technology sector by supporting design assurance processes and regulatory compliance. This is an on-site position.

    What you'll do#

    • Manage and run laboratory studies to validate test methods and conduct design verification.
    • Translate technical data from legacy products to meet current company standards.
    • Perform risk assessments on products and drive design mitigations.
    • Research industry best practices and analyze project data to provide recommendations.
    • Participate in team meetings, capture minutes, and assist in preparing reports for stakeholders.
    • Organize and maintain departmental documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Ensure all work aligns with safety and regulatory requirements, including FDA and ISO standards.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
    • A desire to learn medical device industry standards.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to turn business requirements into technical solutions.
    • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • High attention to detail and organizational skills.

    • Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Work Modality: On-site, full-time.
    • Compensation: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, plus overtime eligibility.
    • Note: US work authorization is required. Sponsorship is not provided. Relocation benefits are not available.
