About the role#
As an intern in Kite Development for Medical Affairs, you will contribute to projects focused on strategy and communications within our Cell Therapy division. This role offers exposure to drug development and product lifecycle management through collaboration with stakeholders across Medical Affairs and partner functions. You will gain hands-on experience in a biopharmaceutical environment dedicated to developing cancer immunotherapies.
What you'll do#
- Create scientific and medical content, including slide presentations, literature reviews, and scientific summaries.
- Assist the strategy team by tracking and executing key initiatives and providing coverage for team members.
- Coordinate medical education initiatives, such as advisory boards, congresses, and webinars, including logistical support and content preparation.
- Support the review and approval process for promotional and medical materials to ensure regulatory compliance and scientific accuracy.
- Present your project work at the end of your internship.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program in Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Business Administration, or Communications.
- Continued full-time enrollment in the Fall semester following the internship.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to commit to a 10-12 week full-time internship between May and August.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be independently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
