About the role#
As a Milk Marketing Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working with dairy producers, milk haulers, and plant personnel. You will learn about milk quality, animal wellness, and on-farm support while contributing to programs that help dairy operations succeed. This role provides exposure to the dairy industry and the professionals who support it. You will build practical skills in producer relations and milk movement logistics.
What you'll do#
- Develop standard work instructions for business reviews with Grande producers.
- Formalize the business review process using presentation slides.
- Conduct short interviews with Grande Associates for business review meetings.
- Interact with milk haulers to learn about milk transportation issues.
- Attend on-farm meetings with dairy producers.
- Gain understanding of sales and logistics for cream and whey products.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior standing pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Dairy Science, Animal Science, Agricultural Business, or a related agricultural field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to dairy farms and field locations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills through work, school, or community involvement.
- Previous dairy farm experience is preferred.

- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship based in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
- The term is rolling.
