About the role#
Risk Advisory Interns join either the IT Risk or Business Process Risk teams. You will work on consulting and compliance projects, gaining exposure to various areas of the practice. Interns participate in all phases of the engagement lifecycle, including planning, management, and project wrap up. You will work closely with staff, managers, and partners to deliver quality work for clients.
What you'll do#
- Execute high quality risk projects from start to finish.
- Perform detailed analysis to identify compliance needs or opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate and test IT and business process controls.
- Collaborate with risk teams and clients to plan engagement strategy and define objectives.
- Identify business development opportunities and participate in marketing and brand initiatives.
- Document conclusions and provide recommendations for clients.
- Assist leadership in creating proposals, budgets, and work plans.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Internal Audit, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field.
- Minimum overall and major GPA of 3.0/4.0 preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel as required.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
- Effective project and time management skills for handling multiple priorities.
