About the role#
Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Recruiting Intern to join the Human Resources team in Cincinnati. This role provides hands-on experience with talent acquisition processes and supports the daily operations of the recruiting department. You will work alongside recruiters and hiring managers to help identify and hire new talent.
What you'll do#
- Support recruiters with daily talent acquisition tasks and initiatives.
- Coordinate interview logistics between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.
- Review resumes and applications to find qualified candidates for open roles.
- Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate interest and qualifications.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and data within the applicant tracking system.
- Assist with the planning of career fairs, recruiting events, and intern programs.
- Help with onboarding activities and new hire orientation preparation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, with a preference for sophomores or juniors.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources or talent acquisition.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- This position is based in Cincinnati, Ohio.
- The role follows a hybrid work model.
- You must be available to work full-time during the summer and part-time during the academic year.
- This position does not offer employment visa sponsorship.
