About the role#
Solidigm is seeking a graduate-level intern to join the Talent Acquisition team. This position focuses on data engineering, modeling, and dashboard development to support global recruiting metrics. You will own the data process from raw source systems to automated, leadership-facing reports. This is a technical role rather than an operational recruiting position.
What you'll do#
- Connect Talent Acquisition source systems to Snowflake and validate data flows.
- Build a query-ready dimensional data model in Snowflake.
- Write and optimize SQL transformations for analysis-ready tables.
- Develop a complete Power BI dashboard suite, including executive summaries and funnel health metrics.
- Build a governed semantic model using certified DAX measures.
- Configure automated data refreshes and implement row-level security.
- Create technical documentation, end-user guides, and enablement sessions.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition leadership to prioritize requirements and translate business questions into measurable analytics.
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure reporting accuracy.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a graduate degree in Data Science, Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong SQL skills, including window functions, aggregations, and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI dashboarding, DAX, and data modeling.
- Experience using Python or R for data extraction and analysis.
- Understanding of dimensional data modeling and ETL/ELT concepts.
- Ability to translate business questions into structured analytics requirements.
- Familiarity with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
- Experience with automated refresh tools, Power BI Service administration, and system integrations.
- Exposure to version control, such as Git, and large datasets in cloud environments.
- Interest in HR, Talent Acquisition, or workforce analytics.
Location & details#
- This internship is part-time at 20 hours per week for a duration of 6 months.
- The role is remote or hybrid for those located near a Solidigm worksite.
- Candidates in Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zones are preferred.
- The target start date is October 2026.
