About the role#
This position helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across the Greenville University campus. You will work on-site as part of the custodial team to ensure facilities are well-kept for students, faculty, and staff.
What you'll do#
- Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
- Empty trash and recycling bins.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces.
- Assist with setting up and tearing down equipment for campus events.
- Report any maintenance needs or safety concerns you notice.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Greenville University.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and use cleaning equipment correctly.
- This role is open to students from various fields, including Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, Communications, Public Health, Human Resources, Environmental Engineering, and Criminal Justice.
