About the role#
This internship provides veterinary students with hands-on experience in a clinical setting. You will work alongside a mentor to build your technical skills and gain exposure to the daily realities of the profession. This is a full-time, unpaid opportunity.
What you'll do#
- Gain practical experience within a clinical environment.
- Develop your technical and clinical skills.
- Work with a mentor veterinarian to implement an exposure plan.
- Interact with clients and members of the veterinary team.
- Receive a certificate of completion at the end of your internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in the third, fourth, or fifth year of an accredited veterinary medicine program.
- Availability for a duration of one to three weeks.
- Ability to arrange your own housing and expenses, though free housing is available at select hospital locations.
