About the role#
Halff is seeking a Land Development Intern for our Frisco, Texas office. You will work on various public and private infrastructure projects, including roadways, drainage systems, and site improvements. This is a full-time, paid internship running from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Design civil engineering projects under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.
- Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Water, Wastewater, Public Works, and Land Development projects.
- Complete drafting work using CAD software.
- Perform design calculations and analysis.
- Prepare permit applications and regulatory documents.
- Coordinate with team members such as surveyors, architects, and contractors.
- Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Civil Engineering or an ABET accredited equivalent.
- Strong communication and team-building skills.
- Self-motivation and organizational abilities.

- Location: Frisco, Texas.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
