About the role#
The Compass Program is a full-time, paid fieldwork practicum for students pursuing a Master's or Doctoral degree in ABA or a related field. This role prepares you for a BCBA career by providing a mix of restricted and unrestricted hours within a professional clinical setting. You will rotate through different roles to gain a well-rounded understanding of behavioral health, supported by mentorship from BCBAs and a doctoral-level supervisor.
What you'll do#
- Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children under BCBA supervision to earn restricted hours.
- Perform clinical and administrative support tasks to satisfy BACB requirements for unrestricted hours.
- Rotate through various support roles based on your training progress and clinic needs.
- Attend weekly individual and group supervision sessions to review your performance and clinical goals.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Master’s or Doctoral program in ABA or a related field.
- Full-time availability to work within a structured clinical schedule.
- Strong communication skills and a reliable work history.
- Ability to pass a national criminal background check.
- Physical ability to walk, run, lift, squat, bend, and push or pull up to 30 lbs.
