About the role#
Holwell Shuster & Goldberg LLP is hiring 2L students for a 10-week summer associate program in New York. We focus on promoting talent from within and often hire our future associates directly from this program. You will receive the same work assignments as a first-year associate and take on meaningful responsibility throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Handle work assignments similar to those given to first-year associates.
- Participate in witness and trial preparation.
- Assist with briefing tasks.
- Prepare for depositions and hearings.
- Engage in a structured mentorship program with assigned partners and associates.
- Attend a schedule of social events to build connections with the team.
What you'll need#
- Strong writing skills.
- A willingness to take on meaningful responsibility.
- An interest in teamwork and mentorship.
- A commitment to promoting talent from within.
- Relevant academic background in fields such as Political Science, History, English, or Communications.
