About the role#
As a Student Retail Sales Associate, you will work directly with customers to answer questions, fulfill requests, and resolve concerns. You will report to the Retail Store Manager and focus on providing a helpful, personalized shopping experience. This position is based on-site in St. Jacobs, Ontario.
What you'll do#
- Greet customers and provide advice on merchandise and related items.
- Process cash, credit, and debit payments using the POS system.
- Unload truck shipments and load customer orders into vehicles, which requires heavy lifting.
- Maintain the store by replenishing merchandise, organizing shelves, and performing general housekeeping tasks.
What you'll need#
- You are at least 16 years old and currently enrolled in high school, college, or university.
- You can consistently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- You are comfortable with physical tasks like bending, pulling, and pushing.
- You have a friendly attitude and strong communication skills.
- You can work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Location & details#
- Location: St. Jacobs, Ontario.
- Schedule: This is a part-time, on-site role with a rolling term.
- Requirements: You must be able to work weekdays from 2:00pm to 6:00pm, Saturdays from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Sundays from 12:00pm to 5:00pm.
