About the role#
The Consumer Finance Internship at Huntington National Bank offers hands-on experience within the banking industry. Interns work on projects that support department initiatives, gain exposure to consumer lending strategies, and learn about risk management and financial wellness solutions. This is a full-time, paid summer program for students interested in a career in financial services.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate directly with your manager and team to support department initiatives.
- Conduct financial analysis, market and consumer research, or credit risk assessments.
- Provide recommendations to improve department processes.
- Participate in team projects focused on applying innovation frameworks to business-relevant problems.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited university with at least one quarter or semester remaining after the summer program.
- Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through work experience or extracurricular activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Relevant academic focus in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, or Mathematics.
