About the role#
This internship provides an introduction to the corporate banking career path. You will work within a team supporting various sectors such as power and utilities, technology, energy, and financial institutions. Interns manage multiple deal assignments and projects concurrently, requiring dedication and the ability to work extended hours, including weekends, to meet deadlines.
What you'll do#
- Support a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage bank systems.
- Execute corporate finance tasks including financial analysis, modeling, and industry research.
- Create marketing collateral and client presentations.
- Collaborate with Industry Coverage and Portfolio Management teams.
- Design and maintain Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint slides for comparative analysis.
- Interact with various bank departments to support transaction structuring and execution.
- Analyze lending opportunities and prepare credit presentations for internal approval.
- Participate in a high-performance, inclusive work environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an expected graduation between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Academic background in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- Proven record of achievement in academic and extracurricular activities.
- Clearly defined interest in corporate banking.
- Strong quantitative skills in financial analysis, accounting, and financial theory.
- Written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to new situations.
- Personal integrity, teamwork skills, and a desire to learn.
- Ability to think independently and make decisions.
