About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship program based in McKinney, Texas. You will work on-site full-time to gain exposure to commercial banking operations and strategies. The program includes workshops, training sessions, and mentorship from experienced team members.
What you'll do#
- Participate in internship program activities, including workshops, training sessions, and special projects.
- Conduct market research and financial analysis to identify client needs and recommend banking solutions.
- Assist with financial spreads, due diligence on potential borrowers, and loan document reviews.
- Collaborate with relationship managers, credit analysts, and team leaders on business initiatives.
- Support marketing activities to enhance client engagement.
- Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in an office environment.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate status as a rising senior graduating in 2028.
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Accounting, or Finance.
- A 3.4 GPA is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- An analytical mindset and an eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Completion of mandatory new hire compliance training and New Employee Orientation.
