About the role#
This 10-week summer internship provides an introduction to commercial banking operations and strategy. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on exposure to financial solutions and industry insights. The program includes orientation, professional development workshops, networking events, and mentorship to help you build your career foundation.
What you'll do#
- Participate in workshops, training sessions, and special projects.
- Conduct market research and financial analysis to support client needs.
- Assist with financial spreads, due diligence, and loan document reviews.
- Collaborate with relationship managers and credit analysts on business initiatives.
- Support marketing activities to improve client engagement.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student status pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Mathematics.
- Rising Senior status with an expected graduation date in 2027.
- A 3.4 GPA is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- A detail-oriented and proactive approach to tasks.

- This is a full-time, on-site role based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
- You will work 40 hours per week in an office environment.
