About the role#
Huntington National Bank is seeking creative and collaborative students for a Summer 2027 Social Media Internship. This program provides hands-on experience across the full content lifecycle within a regulated financial services environment. You will join the editorial content team and work alongside partners in social media, brand, creative, and video production. This role is open to rising college juniors enrolled during Summer 2027 at specific partner universities.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with fellow interns and mentors to develop social media concepts based on audience needs and business goals.
- Participate in brainstorming, creative reviews, and content planning discussions.
- Create, edit, optimize, and adapt content for various social platforms and formats.
- Develop a localized social content toolkit for your university partner to help the team understand campus culture and student needs.
- Support content planning, workflow management, project execution, and performance analysis.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a rising college junior during Summer 2027.
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, Advertising, Public Relations, Film, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Comfort working independently in a remote environment.

- Modality: Remote, with hybrid in-office participation for Columbus-based interns.
