About the role#
This is a paid internship at the Hy-Vee corporate office. You will work on projects within the UX design team while gaining hands-on experience in a professional office setting. The role is full-time for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Provide efficient and friendly service to employees.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a productive work environment.
- Handle job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
- Maintain a reliable attendance record by reporting to work on time.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and computer skills.
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in West Des Moines, Iowa.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
- You must be able to perform light work, including lifting up to 20 pounds.
