About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2026 at the Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI). You will work on-site in Irvine, California, assisting the Kia interior design team with ongoing projects.
What you'll do#
- Help create new interior design concepts.
- Work alongside engineers and designers to develop ideas.
- Join design reviews and brainstorming sessions.
- Research current design trends to support team projects.
- Assist the team with various design tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or Architecture program.
- Strong design skills and familiarity with design software.
- A solid understanding of interior design principles.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
