    About the role#

    The Electrical Engineering Internship Program is a 10-week paid summer experience. You will work on real-world projects, receive mentorship, and develop technical skills alongside industry professionals. This program focuses on hands-on learning within the energy sector.

    What you'll do#

    • Support initiatives to plan, design, operate, maintain, and modernize electric systems.
    • Work on projects related to transmission and distribution infrastructure, substations, system planning, or grid modernization.
    • Collaborate with teams across different business functions.
    • Present your project outcomes, recommendations, and key learnings.
    • Apply your academic knowledge to technical and operational challenges.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a Sophomore or Junior in a Bachelor's program, or as a first-year Master's student.
    • Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • A GPA of 3.2 or higher is preferred.
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
    • Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and communicate findings.
