About the role#
As an Associate Software Engineer intern, you will join an engineering squad to develop, test, and maintain the software powering our platform. You will focus on delivering high-quality code and collaborating with your team to reach quarterly objectives. This role involves working with Java, Spring, and various cloud technologies in a practical, hands-on environment.
What you'll do#
- Write clean, maintainable code for the impact.com platform, both independently and through pair programming.
- Create unit, functional, and integration tests to ensure software reliability.
- Participate in an Agile/Scrum environment with engineers, product managers, and designers.
- Perform triage on bug reports and implement necessary fixes.
- Develop expertise in the specific technologies used by your squad.
What you'll need#
- 1+ years of professional experience using Java and MySQL.
- Knowledge of the Spring Framework.
- Experience working with REST APIs.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.
- Experience building on cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, or AWS.
- Pursuit of a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Environmental Engineering.
