About the role#
The Marketing Intern supports our team by helping develop and run campaigns that grow our brand awareness. You will gain hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, market research, and data analysis. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives that align with our mission. You will help deliver results that contribute to the visibility of the organization.
What you'll do#
- Model ILS Experience Standards of Excellence and support our mission.
- Create and schedule social media content to boost audience interaction.
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer data to spot trends.
- Coordinate email marketing campaigns, including drafting copy and tracking performance.
- Brainstorm and develop creative marketing ideas and promotional materials.
- Report on the success of marketing initiatives using analytics tools.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts and social media platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or design software.
- Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience with graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is preferred.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics or social media insights.
- Previous internship or work experience in marketing or communications.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and content management systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
