About the role#
This internship offers a chance to join the Global Culinology team for the summer of 2027. You will support foodservice development efforts by creating texture-forward food concepts that highlight ingredient solutions. This role involves working on concept development and innovation materials to support strategic business growth.
What you'll do#
- Perform laboratory experiments, analyze data, and interpret results to build new concepts.
- Apply culinary skills in a lab setting to develop texture-forward solutions for the foodservice market.
- Work with Marketing, Applications, and Technical Services teams to align solutions with customer needs.
- Coordinate and summarize experimental data to provide recommendations for technical solutions.
- Present project findings and innovation outcomes to Foodservice and Culinology leadership.
- Partner with the Global Culinology and Foodservice teams to contribute to the 2027 Texture and Trend Report.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a Bachelor’s degree in food science, culinary nutrition, culinary science, or a related field.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, with at least two years of undergraduate coursework completed.
- Laboratory and culinary experience.
- Ability to work safely in both laboratory and culinary environments.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written technical communication skills.
- Creativity to turn culinary trends into manufacturable concepts.
- Reliable transportation for daily travel to the facility.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
