    About the role#

    This co-op position offers the chance to work on the development and testing of the OmniPod System, a low power, battery-operated wearable medical device. You will gain experience in electrical engineering while working within a team focused on medical device technology. This role runs from January 11, 2027, through June 30, 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Design, develop, and document test fixtures and prototype circuit boards.
    • Research practical applications of new technologies.
    • Assist in the rapid prototyping of circuit board assemblies.
    • Conduct verification testing against written protocols.
    • Perform data entry and analysis, then summarize your findings in test reports.
    • Use oscilloscopes, power supplies, and perform soldering of surface mount components.

    What you'll need#

    • You are currently pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics and have completed at least 2 to 3 years of your degree.
    • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
    • Flexibility in accepting assignments and schedules.
    • A sense of responsibility and pride in your work.
    • Professional behavior and appearance.
    • Knowledge of Cadence OrCAD, MatLab, or Ansys HFSS is a plus.
    • Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy is also a plus.
    • You must have authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

    • Compensation: $25.00 to $34.00 per hour.
