About the role#
This co-op position supports the Global Manufacturing Engineering team at our new automated facility in Acton, Massachusetts. You will work alongside engineers to improve production processes, analyze equipment performance, and solve technical problems. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Study in-house production equipment and drive process improvements.
- Generate tool files and write setup or operating procedures.
- Prepare new equipment for validation and support the execution of IQ, TMV, OQ, and PQ activities.
- Support machine build and debug tasks at local supplier sites.
- Design and prototype manufacturing aids using SolidWorks and 3D printing.
- Monitor production line efficiency, scrap rates, and downtime metrics.
- Prepare engineering change orders and supplier change requests.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a BS candidate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related field.
- Experience or interest in manufacturing automation, lab testing, and metrology.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and present clear information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- CAD skills, with a preference for SolidWorks or Pro/Engineer (Creo).
- Data analysis experience using Minitab, JMP, or Excel.
- Authorization to work in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship.

- Compensation: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour.
