About the role#
This Summer 2027 internship supports the International Manufacturing Department. You will work on three primary projects focused on data integrity, AI-tool optimization, and compliance documentation. The goal is to improve operational accuracy and refine internal systems.
What you'll do#
- Maintain product data integrity across internal databases and software systems.
- Collaborate with the team to clean up product data in Plytix and NetSuite.
- Execute single-entry and bulk uploads in Plytix.
- Generate UPC and UCC codes through GS1.
- Ensure accurate data flow into manufacturing spec sheets, product sheets, and NetSuite.
- Review and test AI-built dashboards and webtools to ensure they reflect current processes.
- Identify gaps, failure points, or outdated steps within internal tools.
- Create new or revised SOPs to standardize internal processes.
- Organize and maintain compliance documentation for packaging, children’s products, and licensor requirements.
- Identify missing or expiring compliance documents.
- Create a standardized factory audit summary.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in supply chain, operations, business, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Experience using tools like Claude or ChatGPT to draft documentation, analyze data, and automate tasks.
- Comfort working with large data sets, including sorting, filtering, lookup formulas, and pivot tables.
- Ability to learn new platforms quickly.
- High attention to detail regarding product specs, dimensions, pantones, and code assignments.
- Ability to write clear SOPs and process documentation.
- Confidence in asking direct questions to internal teams and factory partners.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, track open items, and close loops independently.
