About the role#
As a Licensing Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in intellectual property partnerships. You will collaborate with the Creative, Manufacturing, Finance, E-commerce, and Retail teams to help bring licensed products to market. This role covers the entire product lifecycle, from initial market research to final launch, providing practical experience for a career in licensing and consumer products.
What you'll do#
- Submit product, packaging, and marketing materials for licensor approval.
- Maintain a centralized system for all approval documents and creative assets.
- Support the Fan Shop lead with 2028 merchandising assortment and retail program execution.
- Coordinate with the Manufacturing team to track product samples and document progress.
- Assist in ensuring product and packaging compliance with brand guidelines.
- Analyze current sales performance of licensed products.
- Prepare insights and recommendations for existing properties and potential future licenses.
- Conduct market research and build a comprehensive portfolio of competitors across retail partners.
- Build and refine AI apps, and complete monthly and quarterly tasks assigned from licensing partners.
- Partner with Creative, Operations, and E-commerce teams to support go-to-market initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- An interest in licensing, retail, or consumer products.
- A curious, entrepreneurial mindset and a hustle mentality.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
