About the role#
Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions is looking for an Actuarial Intern to join the Corporate Actuarial team. This internship offers practical experience in property-casualty insurance through work on various projects. You will work alongside professionals on both day-to-day assignments and special projects. The program lasts 8 to 12 weeks, starting in early June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Corporate Actuarial division with ongoing projects.
- Perform tasks related to actuarial pricing and reserving.
- Support predictive modeling and stochastic financial modeling.
- Handle data collection and reporting.
- Collaborate with team members to gain experience in actuarial operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Graduation date of December 2026 or later.
- Strong mathematical aptitude.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and data entry applications.
- Completion of one or more actuarial exams is a plus.
