About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will join an engineering team to build scalable, high-performance systems. You will work on projects that reach thousands of customers worldwide, moving from initial development to production. You will be embedded within a team, taking on technical challenges while collaborating with experienced engineers. We are an AI-first company, and you will use AI tools to support your work, learn faster, and improve your workflows.
What you'll do#
- Own features that our 180K+ paying customers rely on daily.
- Take responsibility for the mission, technical direction, and operation of your projects.
- Manage the full lifecycle of your code, including writing, testing, shipping, and maintenance.
- Build and ship features that meet a high bar.
- Debug real issues in both local and production environments.
- Contribute to documentation and support your team during incidents.
- Collaborate with teammates by asking questions and sharing ideas.
- Use AI tools to support your work and improve workflows.
What you'll need#
- At least one previous software engineering internship or co-op.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Expected graduation date in December 2027, May 2028, or June 2028.
- Experience with Python, Django, Typescript, React, or Go.
- Experience with MySQL, Cassandra, Clickhouse, Kafka, or Redis.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, RDS, Aurora, etc.) and Terraform.
- Previous experimentation with AI in work or personal projects.

- Location: Boston, Massachusetts.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site, 5 days per week.
- Status: Full-time and paid internship.
